Tug had a few rough days just before Christmas as roofers were tromping around above him. For three days he was a nervous wreck. Then, after they left, he was still pretty clingy and jumped at normal noises- like the vacuum cleaner which he used to try and ride. We'd read that at 6-7 months Bostons can get clingy and act afraid of things they were previously okay with so we hope that's it. Our boy is 8months now so maybe it's behind us?
Today, I sat at the dining room table and he had his new chew toy out on the porch. He jumps up, carries it as he runs circuits full tilt through the rooms, leaps back onto the porch, shakes the toy like it fought him the whole way and repeats...about three times. Shortly afterward, I walk back into the room and look for him on the porch but he's not there. I say his name and Mama's recliner rocks slightly as he rouses himself and looks over the armrest like "whatsamatter?" I guess it's really Tug's recliner now.
