(Sorry for the lag but there were some technical issues and my posts were just be shoved into draft and then they'd go missing...)
Tug had an outing today with his full entourage (Mama, my sister and me). We went to the picnic area of a local state park because it was a cool, overcast day. He sniffed til his flat little nose nearly fell off and he ate dirt and leaves and acorns which will all probably be vomitted tonight sometime after 2am if history repeats itself. Mama's put clean bedding by his crate and is resigned to getting up to clean him up. Poor little guy just can't understand what's going on when that happens. He just gets confused.
There's a new park to take him to and we rode by it today. It's the closest one to us and is shady and has benches and it's new. Mama's taking him there tomorrow. :)
He's back out playing on the porch a lot now since it's cooler. Mama has made the bold decision to move his 'papers' onto the porch and he's doing fine so far. My concern is when poor weather comes and the door can't just be left open. Tug's always had free access to his papers and, if the sliding glass door is closed, will he find a way to tell us to let him out? I'm just concerned there will be accidents until he learns to tell us in enough time to open the door for him- he's used to going at a moment's notice now. Will keep you posted...LOL- as if that's earthshattering news to anyone but us!!
